Cost
Upon initiating a BudgetForLife subscription, all users will be given a 6-month, all-access free trial. We hope this gives ample time for new budgeters to discover BudgetForLife's capabilities before ever paying a dime.
After six months, users will be charged just $10 each year for continued use of BudgetForLife. Our aim is not to maximize profit, but to maximize affordability for people all around the globe. And we are confident active users of BFL will net far greater in savings than they pay for our software! |
Timeline
We will roll out this subscription in October 2022. From then on, all new BudgetForLife installations will require users to subscribe, thereby beginning their 6-month free trials.
Simultaneously, existing budgets will also begin prompting users to subscribe. This must be completed no later than January 1st, 2023 to maintain seamless use of BudgetForLife. No data or access will ever be removed from older budget spreadsheets, but the budget won't recognize any Log entries dated in 2023 or beyond. |
More Developments
Post-launch of the subscription, likely in January 2023, we hope to reveal a referral rewards system to thank those who bring people to BudgetForLife. Time to cash in on all that budgeting-excitement you feel inside :)
Also in the works is the build-out of a new feature called Sources! Sources will allow users to easily balance their bank & card statements by labeling each Log entry with an associated payment source or bank account. Users will also be able to sort the Log by each source. Pretty awesome! :D |

- Q: How many budget spreadsheets are included with one subscription?
A: As many as you like! There is no limit to how many budgets a single user can create. - Q: Can I share my budget with family members or colleagues? And if so, does everyone need a subscription?
A: You are welcome to share your budget with anyone you wish, and only you (as the spreadsheet owner) will need a subscription. - Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: You can cancel with no hassle via email or at Paypal.com. We'll be sad to see you go! :,) - Q: What happens to my budget(s) if I cancel my subscription?
A: You will retain ownership and access to any budgets you create while subscribed to BudgetForLife. - Q: Can I get a refund from BudgetForLife?
A: While we do not offer refunds at this time, we hope the 6-month free trial provides you enough time to 'try before you buy' :)
